IPL 2025: Best Catch of the Match

Mitchell Santner held onto a wonderfully executed catch while backtracking to dismiss Ayush Mhatre during the ongoing game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 20. The 17-year-old departed after a lively knock of 32 runs off 15 deliveries.

A leg-cutter by former CSK player, Deepak Chahar, was sliced high up towards long-on. The hoick got more elevation than distance though. Santner’s initial movement was forward. However, he quickly tracked back to hang onto execute the catch without losing balance.
